Nayaswami Jyotish & Devi of Ananda Worldwide to talk about Kriya Yoga on Oct 9

Chandigarh: Nayaswami Jyotish and Nayaswami Devi, Spiritual Co-directors of Ananda Worldwide, and disciples of Paramhansa Yogananda, will deliver a talk on Kriya Yoga Meditation at Maharashtra Mandal, Sector 19D, Chandigarh on Sunday, October 9 at 11 am to 1 pm.

Nayaswami Jyotish and Devi are both Kriyacharyas, designated to initiate people into Kriya Yoga. They are both published authors and have authored 7 books. They have been personally trained by Swami Kriyananda to guide Ananda’s work worldwide and have taught and lectured around the United States, Europe, Russia, and India.

Paramhansa Yogananda was the first great master of yoga to make his home in the US from India in 1920 and lived there until his passing. The talk is being held under the aegis of Ananda Sangha, a global movement based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, founded in California in 1969 by Yogananda’s direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda.

“At Ananda, we share the path of Kriya Yoga as taught by Paramhansa Yogananda. Practical and scientific, the Kriya Yoga meditation course is offered over several weeks of study and preparation, culminating in initiation into the sacred path of Kriya Yoga,” said Nayaswami Jyotish.

Kriya Yoga is an ancient meditation technique of energy and breath control or pranayama. It is part of a comprehensive spiritual path, which includes additional meditation practices along with the right living. BlogsWire
